Terms & Conditions
Daily Hire Charge
The daily hire charge GST (12.5% NZ Government Services Tax) and nominated extra drivers with an excess
(as listed on the individual pages) payable by the hirer.
All charges are calculated on a 24 hour basis day.
All rates are subject to change but once a booking is confirmed will not
increase unless changes are made to extend or change vehicles.
We accept EFTPOS, VISA, Mastercard, American Express and cash.
Deposit and payments
When you receive your confirmation a deposit of NZ$200 is required to secure the booking.
The balance owing is required 14 days before hire commences by credit card or cheque.
Cancellation fees apply.
Insurance & Bond
Insurance is available for the vehicle in the daily hire charge, with excess as
listed on the individual vehicle pages.
It does not cover your personal property.
The hirer is liable for damages up to the excess amount for any damage caused in any one claim.
This is covered by a bond taken at the commencement of hire by cash or by imprint of credit card (which is not processed unless necessary).
This bond is fully refundable if the vehicle has not been involved in an
accident and is returned in a clean and undamaged condition with a full fuel tank.
Standard insurance is available for drivers over 25 years of age, for 21 to 25
year old drivers the excess is $2500.00 (subject to management discretion).
One Way Hires
One way hires are possible subject to negotiation and a one-way fee.
Fuel
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel at the start of hire, and
must be returned with a full tank at the end of your hire.
Cleaning Fee
If the vehicle is returned in an extensively dirty condition inside and/or
outside a $50 cleaning fee will be charged.
Vehicle Substitution and Design
We shall make every effort to provide the vehicle you requested but where a vehicle is unavailable for any reason we reserve the right to provide a
vehicle of a comparable standard without incurring a refund.
Drivers Requirements and Licence
All drivers must hold a current valid
drivers licence to be produced at the start of the hire.
An international or country of origin licence is acceptable.
Foreign licences must have a certified English language translation.
Cancellations
Cancellation fees apply at management discretion.
Refunds are not given for unused days of rental once the hire has begun.
